About Joshua Hickman, PA-C

Joshua Hickman is a Board Certified Physician Assistant practicing in general and surgical dermatology.

Before joining the United States Army as a Combat Medic, Josh obtained his undergraduate degree from Auburn University in Auburn, AL. He later completed his medical education through the military’s Interservice Physician Assistant Program, splitting time in San Antonio, TX, and Colorado Springs, CO. He continues to serve in the Army National Guard. He received his formal dermatology training under the direction of Dr. Kevan Lewis. Josh is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Veterans Caucus of the AAPA, and Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

His dermatological passions focus on using evidence-based medicine to provide patients with the best general and surgical outcomes.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys camping, rock climbing, visiting National Parks, and binge-watching episodes of Survivor.
