About Alyssa Jennings, PA-C

Alyssa Jennings is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a compassionate and patient centered care style. She models exceptional standards of professionalism, and integrates a holistic approach to dermatologic assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.

Born and raised in the Midwest, Alyssa earned her undergraduate degree close to home at Michigan State University. She then completed her medical education on the East Coast, earning a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She recognized her strong passion for the field of Dermatology early on in her academic journey, and searched for clinical experience that would supplement a career in Dermatology. She began her career working in Plastic Surgery, and shortly thereafter, joined The New Dermatology Group. She furthered her dermatologic education through training alongside Dr. Lewis and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants Fellowship Program and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.

In addition to practicing medicine, Alyssa enjoys spending time with her family and dog, lake days, visiting museums, exercising, and yoga!
